The book comprises a single compilation containing detailed descriptions concerning different types of delivery systems along with explanations of their principles. These descriptions also explain how they can be used for treating various diseases in a single work.
The book is subdivided into 4 different sections, the first of which exclusively has an introduction to the novel drug-delivery system and its significance. The second part addresses the modern drug-delivery systems such as microbubbles, dendrimers, lipid-based nanoparticles, nanofibres, and microemulsions and explains their principles as well as the methods used to create them.
Section three contains discussions of treatments of various diseases including cancer, common sicknesses (topical diseases), and others. The final section presents a short-summary discussion of the regulatory policies regarding novel drug-sourcing systems that are currently seen in several countries worldwide.
Drug Delivery Systems covers detailed descriptions of various drug systems including their preparation and application in drug therapy. This book is arranged into four parts and is concerned with two major areas of this thesis: theoretical aspects, experimental approaches, and functional characterization. Part I provides theoretical frameworks for novel drug delivery strategies and includes relevant topics such as explained the evolutionary history of drug delivery and presented a general definition of various arbitrarily defined terms.
